Well I promised a picture of myself eventually, so here it is!
This is me at 25 weeks, about ready to go out and get food on Saturday night :-)
I've been adjusting to my new low fat diet fairly well. We've been doing a lot more meals in the slow cooker, which has been awesome. It is both time saving and easier to cook healthy meals that way. Also, because I have to prepare the food early in the day, when dinner time comes around we aren't tempted to make something less healthy out of convenience. Lately however, it unfortunately hasn't really mattered what I eat, I still get pains in my gallbladder area. After a consultation with a surgeon a couple of weeks ago, we've determined that I will likely need it removed after the baby is born. Until then, I just live with the little pains and try to eat as well as possible!
It's a blessing to feel our baby moving each day. Sometimes it really catches me off guard, but I haven't had any issues with a ton of movement when I'm trying to sleep, which is great! I think I may be starting to develop the pregnant "waddle" when I walk also. Weeeee!
and ps......it's out in the open now....we're excited and blessed to announce we're having a little boy :-)
